Here are the different English spellings I've seen for the title God:
- God
- GOD
- god
- G-d
Here are some of the proposals for the name of Biblegod:
- Yahweh
- Jehovah
- Yashua
- YHWH
We can turn to the Bible for help but in the first two chapters of Genesis we find two options:
- Elohim
- Yahweh Elohim
The Bible of course uses many other names for its God. One site I found listed 16. Once we look beyond Judaism and Christianity, we find an absurd number of gods and titles/names for them.
I've seen the claim that atheists are confused about the meaning of "God." I'd suggest the confusion doesn't lie with atheists but rather theists.

It seems to come down to in the end, on one side 'God knows what He is doing, even if we don't' and the way it looks as though the denialist Faithful were taking the stuff that goes down when we are on our own and there is no god in charge and excusing it as God working through bewildering events in his mysterious way - which is the same argument (God knows what he is doing) except that we aren't fooling ourselves.
