Jesus Way of Shepherding - COMING to and FOLLOWING the Lord Jesus Christ until the end,

Let's examine closely the flow of actions between the sheep and the Lord regarding salvation:


27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.


28. And I give them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Read between the lines:

1. When we hear the voice of the Lord Jesus, we are known by Him.

2. When we follow the Lord Jesus, He gives us:

a) eternal life,
b) we shall never perish, and
c) no one can pluck us out of His hand.

There is no teaching of Jesus about 'free gift' or 'by grace, and the belief in the finished work of Christ to be saved, as you teach it today. Instead, those teachings are from Paul. Paul is not Jesus, even if you say he was sent by the Lord."

Until now, you can't tell me the method, parameter, or instruction that the voice you hear tells you to use in testing someone who claims he/she is from God. The Lord taught us to distinguish words that are not His own, as well as the disguises that Satan and his demons use in deceiving people across all generations.

We can see how Jesus communicates and instructs honest hearted ones ...-

ACTS 8:29-35

So the spirit said to Philip: “Go over and approach this chariot.” 30 Philip ran alongside and heard him reading aloud Isaiah the prophet, and he said: “Do you actually know what you are reading?” 31 He said: “Really, how could I ever do so unless someone guided me?”



So he urged Philip to get on and sit down with him. 32 Now this was the passage of Scripture that he was reading: “Like a sheep he was brought to the slaughter,+ and like a lamb that is silent before its shearer, so he does not open his mouth.+ 33 During his humiliation, justice was taken away from him.+ Who will tell the details of his generation? Because his life is taken away from the earth.”+

34 The eunuch then said to Philip: “I beg you, about whom does the prophet say this? About himself or about some other man?” 35 Philip began to speak, and starting with this scripture, he declared to him the good news about Jesus.

And how did Phillip know to 'go over and approach this chariot'?

The author wrote the exact ‘utterance’ of the spirit, which was a command saying, “ Go over and approach this chariot.” Do you have a similar token from the small still voice that talks to you to date? If you do, could you share that with us this time?

Many, some shared on this forum, some shared on other forums, some just for me (though I have shared most everything - not always with everyone, but at least with someone.)

I even shared with you on this very thread some of His words to me when I was a child in a Sunday school class.

I shared with you at the bottom of page 11 on this thread how He confirmed to me that His name is Jahehsua.

There is also one time that the spirit has brought to mind, when I was at a meeting out of love for my Lord, so that I could bear witness to my dear Lord before men and do as He has commanded: eat His flesh and drink His blood. (the leaders of this particular religion falsely teach their people that they should NOT eat or drink, despite Christ saying that ANYONE may do so.)

Before I left that meeting, I spoke to a man who I had known from previous years. I had always seen him smiling and happy before, but this year when I asked how he was, he was down. He spoke about things being hard (paraphrasing.) I told him before I left that I hoped things get better for him. Then, as I was driving home, my Lord asked me:

"Have I taught that you should just tell someone that you hope things will be better... or have I taught you to DO something to help them?"


That was some discipline for me, a reminder of what I should be doing as opposed to what I had done.

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.


C. As per our encounter with Jesus, the Lord introduced Himself to us, saying:

“All of you who are listening, listen carefully! I am your Lord God. Who are you afraid of? I am the Almighty. Who are you intimidated by? Remember, when I am by your side, you have nothing to fear, nothing to worry about, because I will save you from any calamity if you trust in Me and regard Me as your salvation and eternal life. As your Lord, whom you alone will worship and none other, I am the one true God existing in heaven, earth, or universe. I created all things, I gave you life. Where will you go? If not to Me, you have nowhere else to go.”


4. As per your encounter with that spirit, could you please share with us his introductory words he told you about himself the very first time you encountered him?

Onejack, can you please point out the 'introductory words' when Phillip heard the Spirit in the example from the previous posts (Acts 8)? Because you asked me if my Lord had spoken to me like He spoke there to Phillip. And He has.

Maybe you could take a look at the exchange between Christ and Ananias in Acts 9. Or the vision Christ gave Peter of eating "unclean" animals in Acts 10. Read Job 33:14-16.

Christ can identify Himself. We can ask who is speaking. But that does not have to happen each time He speaks. Christ can speak in direct words, but He can also speak in dreams, visions. He can bring things to mind, and the spirit in us - that He has given us - can bear witness to the truth of something that has been shared. That same spirit He has given us can protest if someone shares something false.

And His sheep know His voice.

There is also an actual angel/seraph here in the bush, that Moses saw and heard.

A - Introduced Himself to whom? You, personally, heard this? Or were you listening to what another person said he heard?

B - What made you think that "Lord God" meant "Jesus" or even the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?

4. As per your encounter with that spirit, could you please share with us his introductory words he told you about himself the very first time you encountered him?

See, I answered the question you asked me in the previous post about the Spirit speaking to Philip. I have even answered THIS question that you are asking me now, on another thread. I have also shared with you that my Lord confirmed His name to me, and even how He did so.

So may I ask why you are asking again?

I did not conclude that Christ (the Spirit) is the Almighty God.

Christ is the Son of God. He is also called Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6)

But His Father is Almighty God, God MOST High.

I did not conclude that Christ (the Spirit) is the Almighty God.

Christ is the Son of God. He is also called Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6)

But His Father is Almighty God, God MOST High.
