The Vain Brain is meat headedness having no comprehension of the mind which uses it, refusing to hand over the helm to that mind and refusing to assume its placement as subordinate to the mind. Post #36

"If you lose people with your analogy, imagine trying to reel them back in when you get to reanimated corpses that fly off into the sky to save your eternal soul from the invisible being who will punish you eternally for not believing poorly written ancient fables."
Truly.

That's the thing. Christians are not schizophrenics with personal dialogue to God. It's all in the Bible, transparent and non-cult to everyone!
Thanks, William!

I'm cool! - Stronger Religion every day! Also by "mathematical Religion", the eternal forms, God closing the door on corrupt humanity, possibly!

Finally an answer to a question I have asked three times on this thread! I am in agreement with that answer.

My theological positions:
-God created us in His image, not the other way around.
-The Bible is redeemed by it's good parts.
-Pure monotheism, simple repentance.
-YHVH is LORD
-The real Jesus is not God, the real YHVH is not a monster.
-Eternal life is a gift from the Living God.
-Keep the Commandments, keep your salvation.
-I have accepted YHVH as my Heavenly Father, LORD and Savior.
I am inspired by Jesus to worship none but YHVH, and to serve only Him.

I will never understand how someone who claims to know the ultimate truth, of God, believes they deserve respect, when they cannot distinguish it from a fairy-tale.
You know, science and logic are hard: Religion and fairy tales might be more your speed.
To continue to argue for the Hebrew invention of God is actually an insult to the very concept of a God. - Divine Insight

"There are about 50 deities in the OT, Dagon, Ba'El, and so on. They are as real as God, the Bible says so. Technically they still have not been given up, and non-technically, they are part of the whole story."
Exactly. This whole religious theology is simply indefensible. It was clearly never anything more than superstitious tales told by, and believe by, an ancient ignorant culture.
